  1. Dear Marie and family, Gene and I were so sad this morning to hear of J.C.’s passing. I have so many great memories of J.C., not only memories of your visits to Campbellsville, but also memories of how grandaddy was always eager to share stories about J.C. with me and catch me up on what J.C. was doing. He often showed me, so proudly, letters you sent and photos you took together. My best memories of J.C. are touring his R.V. at the campsite in Campbellsville and how he once expertly analyzed my handwriting. I cannot help but feel that the world is less a place without such wonderful men like J.C. and my grandaddy, though I know that heaven is a better place with them. I wish you peace and send you our heartfelt prayers this holiday season.

  2. Dear Marie, Ed, and our Family,

Though I cannot be with you today, my prayers and love come with this message.

JC was a wonderful, loving and generous brother to me all those years. His deep Christian faith always shown by his warm, affectionate voice and his often humorous smile and by his brotherly advice and wise counsel.

May our Lord, the God of all Grace, be ever sufficient in the coming times to each of you, my family.

    Kenny sends his love also.

    Love, Nancy
