Fredrick Gene Albaugh
FORT WORTH — Fredrick Gene Albaugh, 72, a retired Air Force chief master sergeant, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 17, 2011, in Fort Worth. Funeral: 10 a.m. Tuesday at Mayfield Kiser Funeral Home. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the Funeral Home. Interment: 12:30 p.m. Tuesday in Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery, Lane C. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Travis Avenue Baptist Church Benevolence Ministries, 800 W. Berry St., Fort Worth, Texas 76110. Fredrick was born in Venango County, Pa., to the late Roy and Helen Albaugh on Sept. 28, 1938. He served his country with distinction for 26 years in the Air Force. After retiring from the Air Force, he was employed by Lockheed Martin for 22 years. He dearly loved the Lord and his family. Fredrick spent his retirement serving many of Fort Worth’s residents in their times of need through Travis Avenue’s Benevolence Ministries. His years of selfless service highlight his Christlike character. He was preceded in death by a brother, LeRoy Albaugh. Survivors: His wife of 49 years, Mary of Fort Worth; daughter, Celeste of Brandon, Fla.; son, Fredrick, daughter-in-law, Kristen, and his grandchildren, Elijah Fredrick, Aaron John, Gracelyn Ruth and Hannah Lea of Memphis, Tenn.; brother, Gail Albaugh and sisters, Marion Fesenmeyer and Carol Albaugh of Venus, Pa.
