Freddy W. Johnson
BURLESON — Freddy W. Johnson,74, beloved husband, father, brother, grandfather and uncle, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 26, 2013. Funeral: 2 P.M. Tuesday at Mayfield Kiser Funeral Home. Visitation: 7 to 8 P.M. Monday at Mayfield Kiser Funeral Home. Interment: Glenwood Cemetery in Alvarado. Memorials: In lieu of flowers a contribution to the Alzheimer’s Association in his name would be greatly appreciated. Freddy was born December 26,1938 in Alvarado to Roy Odell Johnson and Loverna Banks Johnson. He retired from Bell Helicopter Textron after 34 years of service. He enjoyed fishing, boating, traveling, woodworking, cats and a good gray horse. We wish to thank those at Fleurdleys and Mission Hospice for their loving care. He will be greatly missed. Survivors: wife, Janet McLain Johnson; son, Bradley Johnson and daughters Destiny, Cassidy, and Gracie; daughter, Diane Hairston and husband Randall; grandson, Justin and wife Cassandra; sister, Norma Jean Hollingsworth and husband Terry; step-daughter, Julie Rekieta and husband Dan and children Alise and Anton; mother-in-law, Nita Kester and companion Lee; step-daughter, Lisa Chambers and step-son, Chris Green.

  7. Dear Janet, It is hard to understand why thing happen sometimes. Usually in hindsight we see it all better.
    You have been through a lot and handled it well.

  9. Words can never describe the sorrow and pain we all feel when a love one is gone. Jane, I truly understand what you are going through. Fred was a very good neighbor and I will miss him greatly. You know I am next door whenever you need me. May The Lord wrap his arms around us all as we endure this trying time.
