Faith Lynne Kunze
Faith Kunze embarked on her great adventure Friday, February 18th, 2022. Her granddaughter Loralai welcomed her on her way. There are so many things we can say about our beloved Mammaw, but the truth is anyone who knew her loved her and misses her terribly now. She encompassed the epitome of love. She was a badass Marine, Disney fanatic, Star Wars Jedi as The Force was strong within her and she could tell you everything you need to know about Harry Potter. She was devoted to all her children, grandchildren and husband. Anytime you were sick you were sure to get an order of McDonald’s French fries with their Coke because it was the best kind, ya know. She took care of everyone who needed her selflessly. Many a run to Sonic for a special after school treat and Half Price Books to get a book for each of her granddaughters was had. The amount of loss we feel is equal to the amount of love she gave us all, and it was boundless. Faith was every kids dream of a wonderful Mammaw with hugs that could cure anything. She left behind her husband Kenneth, daughter Katherine and her husband Edson, their daughters Eowyn, Arwen, and Erelin, and her son Kameron and his wife Nicole and their combined children Geoffrey, Lillie and Loralee. She will never be forgotten as her love for us lives on through her memory & all the time we had with her. May the Force be with you on your journey to Valhalla and to infinity and beyond. We love you forever.

  6. My dear wife. Love of my life. Almost 43 years as my partner. We were just speaking earlier in the day of a big Disney vacation we wanted to plan. You just loved all things Disney and I just loved seeing your perpetual excitement as you spoke of past memories of your favorite vacations. We journied together in aspiring a Christ centered life. Our mutual goal was to encourage each other to look forward to Heaven. Our last couple of years together had to have been the sweetest. I remember every little kindness. I will miss our morning devotional as we shared our time together seeking a closer walk with our Savior. You had many interests, but your relationship with God was your main one. We used to say to each other often ” I love you, but I love Jesus more”. And that’s the reason my dear wife you brought so much love to others. My last day with you here on this side of Heaven was a very beautiful day. I couldn’t have asked God for a better day with the love of my life. I just didn’t expect you gone so quickly. You are so missed by many. I will absolutely cherish every memory of you my most beautiful, awesome wife.

  7. I want to offer my condolences to your family for your loss. My husband and I had the pleasure of working with Faith as letter carriers in Arlington. She was such a sweet and happy lady. I think anyone who met her liked her immediately. She had a great attitude and sense of humor. She will be greatly missed by all of us who worked with her at the USPS and as members of the National Association of Letter Carriers. RIP Faith!

    1. Thank you for your kind words for my amazing mom. She was one of a kind and we miss her greatly.

  8. Faith, you were my first friend when I arrived in San Diego as a newlywed. I was barely 19. My husband was in the Marine band with you, and after we were introduced, you just took me under your wing and helped me through all things a military wife should know. We had great times together, including a trip to Disneyland. I’m so glad we kept in touch after MCRD, and FB caught us up even more. I’m grateful for that. Gone too soon.
    Sincere condolences to the family.

  9. I had planned a trip (when the weather was a little warmer) to Arlington to meet up with Faith and Kenneth for a lunch date. I wanted to meet Faith in person ! She seemed like such a sweetheart! I have known Ken for a few years. I used to pick him up for church . I am so sad my plans can’t come true. I know you all will miss her so much! But she will always be with you ! Lots of hugs and God bless and hold you in His arms!
