I could not have asked for a more loving and caring “second mother.”

I lost my best friend, Ellamae, and my heart goes out to the family. We knew Ed and Ellamae and Katy since 1950, and became best friends and neighbors. My heart goes out for Katy’s loss.
We moved into the house next door to Ed and Ella Mae in Houston, Texas in 1962.
What a wonderful example of a true lady. My memories of Ellamae are of a loving, kind person with a delightful sense of humor.

I met Ella Mae many years ago in Houston, but got to really get to know her a couple of years ago.
