Edson Ladron de Guevara
MANSFIELD — Edson Ladron de Guevara, 36, passed away Sunday, Dec. 8, 2013. Service: 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 21, at Mayfield Kiser Funeral Home. Edson Ladron de Guevara, 36, was born on September 16, 1977 in Mexico City, Mexico. While the country was celebrating its Independence Day, our family was celebrating the life of our “little” brother. He was named after Edson Arantes Do Nacimiento Pele, the great Brazilian soccer player. Edson came to the United States as a young boy, and grew up in Sherman, Texas. At a young age, he became a repair plumber, recently getting his Master Plumber License, and opening his own business called Good Guys Plumbing. Edson was well known for his love of VW buses and cars, always having a project or two on hand. He loved browsing TheSamba.com; he could not wait for the next car show. He especially loved spending time with his dogs, Bailey and Chocolate, his family, and close friends. Survivors include: Wife Jennifer, mother Ambar Cummins, father Luis Ladron de Guevara, brothers Edgar, Victor, and Alejandro, sisters Adrian, Vanessa, and Diana, numerous nieces and nephews, extended family, and friends.
