Doyal (Ray) Shewbirt Jr.
Princeton, TX: Doyal (Ray) Shewbirt Jr., aged 64, died peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer on September 26, 2022. He was born on June 14, 1958, in Mckinney, Texas.  He was taken too early, loved by many, and will be missed forever. Ray is preceded in death by his beloved mother, Mary Jenice (Thomas) Raines, infant brother Christopher, his father, Doyal R. Shewbirt Sr., cousin Phillip Thomas and father-in-law Bill Stotler. He is survived by his wife of thirty years, Dixie Shewbirt, sons Matthew Allen, Tray Shewbirt & wife Devona, Jacob Bunday, and grandson Ayden Ray Shewbirt. Daughter Christy King, and grandchildren, Zackary, Zayla, and Dawson King. His sister Valeria Young, and brothers Sherman Shewbirt and Paul Shewbirt. Mother-in-law Elsie Stotler, nieces, nephews, and many more relatives. Ray loved all young people and wanted some of his bonus children remembered by name, Daniel and Mike Klemm, Adam Slover, Caitlyn Head, Zack Ohler, Nick White, Reggie, and Danny Hill. A driver for Andrews Logistics, Ray never knew a stranger and will be missed by many friends. The world is a better place for having had him in it.  Lone Star Cremation has been entrusted with his cremation arrangements.

  5. So sorry for your loss. Keeping you all in prayer. I remember Ray from school days as a funny & handsome young man. I also witnessed his big heart at work one day helping a little boy on the school bus.
