Donna Gaylene Hymel
BURLESON — Donna Gaylene Hymel, 52, passed away Sunday, August 10, 2014. Memorial service: 11 a.m. Thursday at Mayfield Kiser Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be held at 6:00 P.M. Wednesday, August 13, 2014 at the home of Paula and Scott Loudermilk, 200 Madeline Lane, Burleson, Texas. In lieu of flowers, the family suggest memorials be made to the American Diabetes Association in memory of Donna Gaylene Hymel. Donna was known by her family and close friends as Gaylene. As a young girl she liked to play softball and her greatest passion was music, she had a beautiful voice. Although, for the past 10 years or more, she has had severe health problems from having juvenile diabetes. She suffered several strokes which greatly affected her speech and she was no longer able to sing. She had many other health issues that severely handicapped her. Even though she was in poor health, she did her best to always be there for her family and friends. Donna was preceded in death by her parents, Adolph and Faye Berry. Survivors: Vince Castro; daughter, Nicole Alcala and husband Jesse;  sisters, Suzette Aubrey, Paula Loudermilk and husband Scott ; nieces and nephews; Brandi Whitworth and husband Jeff, Josh Loudermilk, Blake Aubrey and Heath Loudermilk; Great nieces; Shelbi Whitworth, Ella Aubrey and Kynslee Loudermilk.

  3. We only had the opportunity to meet Gaylene once and unfortunately it was the night before she passed away. She was having such a good time at the Birthday Party for Paula and Scott.
