Dewey Wheatley Lindsey, 65, of Glenn Heights, TX, passed away in the early morning hours on Tuesday, December 7, 2021 as the result of a bicycle accident. He is proceded in death by his parents Alta Wheatley Lindsey and Dewey Wroten Lindsey. Survived by: sisters- Gloria Stahl, Suzanne Smith, and brother-Andy Lindsey, children- Kandice VanSkiver and Kraig Lindsey, ex-wife- Konnie Lindsey, grandchildren- Riley VanSkiver, Reese VanSkiver, Aaron Lindsey, Leah Lindsey, Christopher Lindsey and Gabriel Lindsey.

When I was young, I always looked forward to seeing Buddy and Andy at Grandpa Wheatley‘s house in Waxahachie. We had many good times there.
I will miss him.

My Grandfather was a great man, he brought us out to eat a lot. He also brought us fishing, to the zoo, and may other places. I enjoyed my time with him and will miss him. Rest in peace Papa.
