Desideria Tapia
Former Texas resident Desideria Tapia, 71, passed away peacefully on Sept. 9, 2020, at her home in Fort Worth, Texas, after a long battle with Alzheimer’s and Dementia. At her request, no service will be held. Desideria was born March 12, 1949 in Belen, New Mexico to Edwardo and Ursula Saiz. Desideria was full of passion and loved her family very much. She cared deeply for her family and neighbors. She did this not out of obligation, but because of who she was. She was always the first to offer help. And she always ensured that every child who crossed her threshold was safe and healthy. She spent most of her life in Southern California before making her way to Texas to live closer to her children. She was proceeded in death by her son Raymond Tapia Jr. She is survived by her a husband of 52 years, Raymond Tapia Sr; daughters, Cindy Tapia, Nadeen Suarez; son, Inez and son in law Mark Suarez; Including her grandchildren Corina, Andrew, Nick, Monique, Rocky, Mikala, Neaveh, and Ray, and 4 great grandchildren.

  1. Auut Desi I know that you are in a beautiful place. Thank you for once helping Mike and I out when we first got married. You took us in for the night. Fed us, took us to the dollar movies, and ran us around putting in applications. You hussled and got us our jobs. For that, I will forever be grateful. Love you!   3. I will always remember Desi, she and I were close cousins’/friends. I was deeply saddened by her death, but I know she is now rejoicing with the Lord. I have so many memories of our time together and will always have them. My condolences to her family
