  1. Just want to let you know how much the family meant to us. We were neighbors for many years in Irving and went to visit them in Canton. Spent many quiet Christmases with them in Canton. Ted would take care of Christmas dinner because he wanted Deanna to have the day off. He always said she had done more than her share getting ready for the holidays. We had many fun times with our four legged equine friends. One year Cinnamon got her own birthday party. All of the horses in the neighborhood were invited. Missed all of the family when they moved away. I always in awe at her green thumb. Don’t know how she kept things going like she did. When they moved to Canton the made monumental changes in the property. She was so happy there.S

  5. Our thoughts and prayers are with you today as you honor and remember your mother Deanna Jean Carroll. We have fond memories of living nearby back in the 70’s on Highway 17, Canton, Texas. My husband Michael always enjoyed you children as you rode with him to First United Methodist Church. I enjoy being Facebook Friends with Evette.. We are making a donation to World Wild Life in honor of Deanna Jean (Asbury) Carroll. No doubt about her passions — people, the outdoors, animals and her family.
