Cleburne, Texas — David Tomas Jonsson Sr. 60, passed away Sunday May 30th at Texas Health Cleburne. He leaves behind 3 sons; David Tomas Jonsson Jr. 39, Michael Ray Jonsson 37, and Christopher Wade Jonsson 36. He also leaves behind one sister, Becky Zartman. He leaves behind 8 grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his father Tomas Jonsson and his mother Carol Sue Jonsson.

I spent 2 awesome years being with the teenage David in Michigan before he and his family moved to Texas. I tried unsuccessfully to rekindle with David as we grew older but will always have special memories of the brief time we spent together. My condolences to the surviving members of his family. He was a man with a gift of spirit drive and friendship loyalty. He will be missed and I wished I had tried harder to connect before his untimely passing.
