David “Ross” Miller passed away peacefully with family by his side on December 27,2016 . Visitation: 6:00-8:00 pm Friday December 30,2016 at Mayfield Kiser Funeral Home. Burial will follow at a later date in Floydada, Texas. Ross was born and spent most of his life in Fort Worth, Texas. After returning from the Navy, he turned his career to Union Pacific Railroad where he worked more than 30 years. He was a 32nd Degree Mason and was a faithful member of the Masonic Lodge #331 in Mansfield, Texas. He loved hunting, fishing and the time he had with his family. Ross was always the first to lend a hand when the situation would arise. Survived by: sons: David James Miller and wife Denise, Clint Jay Miller and wife Lauren, brothers: Ben Miller and wife Nancy, Matt Miller and wife Renee, grandson, Landon, granddaughter, Payton, numerous nieces , nephews and friends.

David, Clint, and Miller Family: Prayers to all of your family on the loss of your father. You and your parents were such good friends and neighbors many years ago in Fort Worth. Ross was our first call for everything that went wrong in our house because he could fix anything! He was a Godsend for our”mechanically-challenged” family. Tara and Brant loved going to the rail yard to see the big trains with Ross, Clint, and David. We will always remember his big heart and even bigger smile.

He was the closest thing to a father image Jason could have ever shared with you. First, I thank you for sharing this amazing man with him! Second, there is another black hole on this earth as he takes his “shine” to guard you all from afar. He will be deeply missed!
