David C. Brown
BURLESON — David C. Brown, 88, passed away Monday, June 16, 2014. Funeral: 11 a.m. Wednesday at Mayfield Kiser Funeral Home in Burleson. Interment: Burleson Memorial Park. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. David proudly served his country during World War II in the Navy. He was a longtime western swing drummer. He had a heart of gold and will be dearly missed. David was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Lee Brown. Survivors: Daughters, Linda Myatt, Pam Coffey and husband, Alan, and Carrie Echols; sons, Dale Myatt and wife, Margie, Barry Brown and wife, Dixie, and Larry Brown; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and sister-in-law, Helen Beauchamp and husband, Frank.

  3. I can’t help but wonder what you are now experiencing Dad. To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. You are now free from this fallen world and enjoying the glories of heaven and all the benefits of being with Jesus. We love you and look forward to seeing you soon.
