  5. To the family of Daniel:
There aren’t sufficient words to express my symptahies for your loss. I taught Daniel his sophomore year at Crowley High School. I have had many students since and he still stands out as a truly superior young man. Daniel was a hard worker, kind to others and incredibly respectful. Even when his classmates were acting up, his examplary character never wavered. I was pleased that when he graduated he sought me out to keep me posted on the things he was doing at Tarleton. I was extremely proud of my student, as I know you were as his family. His kind demeanor and infectious smile left a mark on my life and I feel blessed to have had the pleasure to know him. Your family will be in my continued thoughts.

  11. Our heart grieves for your family. At times such as this I have thought it is harder to lose a child than it would be to lose other relations in your life. I’m so glad you are so close to your church and to the powers that be. They will give you the strength and comfort you cannot get any other place here on earth. They will help you get through this terrible pain. Our love goes out to all of you.
