  3. Denita & Boys, my heart aches for you with the loss of a great man. Dana and my Brother Jeff Hanson were really great friends, Dana spent a lot of time at our house! He will be missed by all!

  4. To Dana’s Family. I would like to express my deepest sorrows for your lose. I too lost a friend. I 1st met Dana in 1977 when my Family moved from West Texas to Burleson. We were in 9Th grade that year. We graduated together in 1981. I then left and went into the Navy and didn’t see Dana until one of our school reunions. Last time I saw him was at the PJ3 this past Sept were he and I talked for sometime. He seemed to be doing great this is why this has come as such a shock to me. I know Dana is with God now and he is not hurting anymore but that will not relieve the pain that his Family and Friends feel from his lose. He will be missed by all that knew him. He always had a smile on his face and a good word in his Heart. All the time I knew him I never once saw him lose his cool. RIP Dana.

  5. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and the family. Please if you need anything don’t hesitate to call. Dana will be deeply missed.

I am Wessie’s sister, Sarah. I don’t know if you remember me, but your Mom and I were so close growing up. I wanted you to know how very very sorry I am. Your family has been through so much and my heart breaks for you all. I had been praying for your Dad, but now I am praying for all of you. I probably won’t get to come, but our thoughts and prayers are with all of you. Love, Ssrah and family

  7. Denita, Dylan & Dalton,

We are in shock still, our hearts ache for your loss! Dana always had a smile on his face and we have some of our fondest memories hanging out with him at the lake, at a party, at the park, playing poker…wherever! If Dana was out with us, we always had a laughing good time. He was always making us laugh. Even though life gets in the way and we haven’t seen him as much in the last few years, he will be greatly missed. We are praying for you and the boys. If you need anything at all, please let us know!

  14. Denita and Canen family,
Dana and I have been friends since Junior High. One of the few people I stayed in touch with after High School. I am so sorry I won’t be able to see that smiling face and hear that one of kind voice ever again. May God be with you and all of your family.

  15. Danita,

I am heartbroken at this sudden turn of events. I can’t believe Dana is gone. I think about you and the boys daily and can’t imagine how difficult this must be for y’all.

Jess and I have such fun remembering all the volleyball, softball, cookouts, camping, hold’em tournaments, Halloween and Christmas parties y’all included us in. Dana always made us feel so welcome. I can still hear his loud laugh.

If there is anything we can do, please don’t hesitate to contact us. Dana will be sorely missed.
