March 12, 1941 – July 10, 2014 Dan Austin Farmer passed away early on the morning of July 10, 2014 in Burleson. A service was held in honor and celebration of Dan’s life at 6pm July 12, 2014 at Boulevard Baptist Church in Burleson, Texas. Dan is survived by his wife Suzette, children Mark and Mary Farmer, Brittnie and Josh Harmon, Krissy and Justin Froid, Courtney and Brett Allen, Jordan Sumner and Colton Farmer as well as one granddaughter and and five grandsons.

I graduated at Abilene High School with Dan. I am sorry I did not stay in contact with him after graduation. I think we went to the 7th through 12th grade together. May God grant the family peace as we continue to build bridges for the next generation as we journey through life. My wife, Sherry, and I will pray for the family during this solemn and trying time.

I’m so sorry for your loss. I worked with Dan at FedEx . After I left Fedex I tried finding him to let him know how I appreciated his always so kind words during very difficult times in my life in those years. Goodness I just feel sadden I never had the opportunity to say how he changed my outlook on life in a very positive way. Suzy, Dan always talked so highly of you and all the kids and how he just loved yall especially the youngest lil boy whom we always use to tell Dan was his mini me..
Please know that man was a great man when it came to loving his family. Don’t see very many men like Dan.. Bless you and the family
