Clarence Koncaba
On Saturday, September 21, 2019 at 2:55pm, Clarence Anton Koncaba loving father and grandfather passed away at age of 82. Clarence was born Dec 11, 1936 in Moulton, Texas to Rudolph Koncaba and Agnes Kresta Koncaba and has been living in McKinney, Texas as a resident of North Park Health and Rehabilitation Center for the past two years. Clarence was a graduate of Plains High School where he enjoyed being in the band. After graduating he joined the US Army. Clarence enjoyed farming with his father and on his own until retirement. Clarence was a dedicated Christian and gentle soul who loved his Lord and was a member of the Plains First United Methodist Church. He loved his children, the country life, farming, raising dachshunds and basset hounds, and a good Sonic burger and Platinum H Steakhouse catfish. Clarence is survived by daughters Amanda Lowrey of Dallas, Texas and Nancy Mendoza of Brownfield, Texas. Son Daniel Lee of San Antonio, Texas. Sisters and brother-in-law, Margaret Koncaba Farmer of Napa Valley, California, Irene Koncaba Zumbar and Ronald Buck Zumbar of Alliance, Ohio and Janie Koncaba Taunton of Brunswick, Georgia. Grandchildren Halee Lowrey and Hannah Lowrey of Lubbock, Texas, Hagen Lowrey of Plains, Texas, Liliana Holguin and Landon Mendoza of Brownfield, Texas. A memorial service will be held on Saturday October 12th at 11:00am at Plains First United Methodist Church, Plains, Texas.
