  1. My sincere condolences to Lisa and Chris and families in the death of their beloved Mother, Carolyn. She talked a lot about how lucky she was to have such great children. Now she will be joined with Charlie and looking down on her family. My prayers go out
    to you and your family.

    Love,
    Nancy Carter

  2. To Carolyn’s family: I am sad she lost the battle with her cancer, but am thankful for all the time she was here with us and for the time I’ve known her at church. She was so sweet and will be missed. I know you miss her terribly, but just know you can be with her someday! I’ll see her again too! Thank you Jesus! Blessings to the family!

  3. The Waltons were like a 2nd familiy to me in college…I will never forget crying on their shoulder all night when Lisa & Lee left on their honeymoon. We are so sad, yet so thankful that both Charlie & Carolyn will now be together again. They are truly Angels. We love you – Peace & Many Blessings –

  4. Knowing God will be your strength in the days ahead. May you feel His presence and blessings even during your mourning.

  5. To Lisa and family. May God Help you through this sad time. I do so wish to give you a hug and tell you it will be ok. It hurts so bad at first but then the wonderful times you shared will play over in your mind and comfort you.
    LOVE YOU.

  6. I am so thankful I got Carolyn’s phone no. from her sister, Marjorie, last year. I had not seen Carolyn for 50 years. We talked on the phone and decided it would be nice to have a reunion with our 8th grade classmates from St. Paul Lutheran School in Thorndale, Tx. We had a great reunion in January of this year. Carolyn was just as sweet as I remembered her 50 years ago. Now, that Carolyn has passed, I realize just how important that reumion was. I have lost one of my email friends. God’s Blessings to her family.

  7. Dear Lisa and family, Chris and family. It is indeed hard to believe that your mother has left this earth but, for a far better place, where she will be reunited with her beloved husband, and your father, where there is no pain or suffering. I enjoyed the times we had together, the car pools, social and sports events, during your High School years. My condolences on your mother’s passing and prayers for you as you say good by to her, always thinking ’till you meet again!

    Love you,
    Elinor Good Schriner
