Carolyn Joyce Lambert
Carolyn Joyce Perry Lambert, 75, of Arlington, went to be with her Heavenly Father on November 20, 2017. Carolyn was retired from the General Motors Assembly Plant. She and her late husband, Bill Lambert owned Arlington Auto Glass. Also, in the 1960’s, Carolyn filled orders – on roller skates – at the old Montgomery Wards catalog shipping center on Seventh Street in Fort Worth.   Carolyn was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Lambert; mother, Lorene Abbott; and father Bud Perry. Survivors include her loving sons, Morris (Margarite) Crayton of Austin, and Johnnie Lee (Sherri) Crayton of Mansfield; her “second Dad” for 70 years, Johnnie Abbott of Mineral Wells; brothers Don (Beverly) Perry of Oklahoma City, Jerry (Ruthmary) Abbott of Springfield, Missouri, and Ron Chauncy of Midland; sister Johnna Sue Abbott (Gary) Roach of Azle; grandchildren Christopher Crayton and Courtney Crayton of Mansfield, Candace (Rick) Andreucci, Taylor Crayton, Seth Crayton, Caleb Crayton, and Cameron Crayton, all of Austin; uncles Junior Edwards of Vinita, Oklahoma, Kenneth (Betty) Edwards of Kermit, Texas; and many nieces, nephews and friends. Carolyn will be dearly missed by many people. A Celebration of Life will be held at Shepherds Barn, 7836 County Road 526, Mansfield, Texas, on Saturday, December 2, from 11 AM to 1 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made online to the Muscular Dystrophy Association at http://www.mda.org .
