  1. I just saw the message pertaining to Bruce passing away. I am very saddened and surprised at this news , as he was at the reunion this past summer and he looked so well, happy and healthy. We had a very enjoyable time visiting and talking about our high school days , as well as our early childhood. We both lived on the same block when we started grade school age age 5 – 6. How did he pass away ? Was it a sudden illness —-or an accident ? —-Here is to a wonderful person and friend. God Bless all of his family. Coach John Jenkins

  2. I can’t believe he’s gone. He’s been part of my life as long as I can remember. We were 6 weeks apart in age and spent almost every day together throughout our childhoods. He was just part of my life that I just assumed would always exist, even though we were miles apart. My heart and prayers go out to Lee and the kids. This is such a sudden shock for all. Much love to family, Bobbye

  3. Bruce and I went to school together from grade school through high school. My grandparents lived next door to the Childers family on Francis when we were young. May God give you all peace and comfort in knowing he rests in the arms of our Lord. Debbie

I will always remember all crazy things we did,and the fun times we shared. Being from Hawaii, and he,from Pampa,Texas, there was alot to talk about in the wee hours of the night in our dorm room. I only wished, that I could have contacted him sooner,so that we would have been able to talk about the old times. Lee,I’m so sorry for your lost. He was a good friend.
