ALVARADO — Bobbie Barnes passed away Friday, Sept. 19, 2008, after a sudden illness while vacationing in New Mexico.        Funeral: 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Mayfield Kiser Funeral Home in Burleson. Burial: Glenwood Cemetery in Alvarado. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Funeral Home.        Bobbie was a member of Grace Baptist Church in Grandview. She was also a member of The Grand Ladies of Grandview chapter of the Red Hat Society. Bobbie was preceded in death by her husband George in 2001; and sons, George Jr. in 1960 and Michael Wayne in 1985. She was a devoted mother, grandmother and friend who will be missed by all who knew and loved her.        Survivors: Daughters, Elizabeth Barnes Streett and husband, David, of New Mexico and Nola Burge and husband, Kyle, of Alvarado; son, Shelbron Barnes and wife, Pam, of Fort Worth; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
