Anthony Ray Jennings
Anthony “Tony” Ray Jennings passed away in his home in Dallas, Texas on April 23, 2023. Tony was born in Dallas, Texas on November 24, 1963, to Fred Eugene Jennings Sr. and Maurice Crump Jennings. Proceeded in death by his parents, Fred and Maurice Jennings his sister Patricia Ann Jennings, and his brothers Fred “Rusty” Eugene Jennings Jr. and Richard Earl Jennings. Tony is survived by his brother Douglas Dewayne Jennings, his nieces Amanda “Mandy” Duncan, Elizabeth Jennings, Amy Ross, Jessica Jennings, Molly Jennings, his nephew Richard “Ricky” Jennings Jr., and 5 great-nephews and four great-nieces. He will be missed by many other relatives and friends. Tony was a proud member of the Marine Corps and was honorably discharged in 1983. He was a volunteer firefighter and an Emergency Medical Technician. Tony was then a paramedic for ten years and was a certified computer technician for over twenty years. The family will hold a memorial service on May 13th at 11 am in Forney, Texas at the Hillcrest Cemetery on Pinson Road. Those who knew and loved Tony are invited to join.   1. Tony was such a kind and loving person. Yes he could be a little goofy at times. He was only 12 when I first met him. He would always be there if you needed him. He was a great uncle to my girls and son. He loves his family.

  2. Tony: A life spent in service to others. His career choices, his faith, and his enduring need to put helping family above his own needs. He never seemed to meet a stranger, and once you were a friend you were family. A movie buff who could quote so many films by heart. A fan of his Cowboys, the Stars and Nascar. Rest well friend.
