Jeannie Aiyana Jones
Keene, TX – Jeannie Aiyana (Richards) Jones, 82, was welcomed into Heaven on Wednesday, August 18,2021 in Burleson, TX. Jeannie was born on Sunday, April 30, 1939 in Fort Worth, TX. She was preceded in death by her mother, Dorothy Richards Henson; father, JB Richards; grandson, Chasz Hicks and other family and friends. Jeannie is survived by her children; sons, Jeff O’Neal and Stephen Zenczak; daughters, Justine O’Neal Penick, Kathi Zenczak Hicks and Dana Zenczak Lewis; brother, Ronnie Richards; sister, Carolyn Richards Payne; 16 grand children; 9 great grand children and many extended family and friends. Jeannie was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend who gave inspiration, motivation and spiritual guidance to all. She enjoyed family time, dancing, roller skating and attending Church with family and her friends. She loved giraffes, angels, Jesus and the Lord. Jeannie will be missed by all that knew her. A Celebration of Jeannie’s life will be held at Open Door Church in Burleson, TX at 10:30 am Saturday, September 4, 2021. Condolences for the family may be offered at www.lonestarcremation.com

    talking and laughing together…
    But, for now, , I remember all the years it was just you , me and mother against the world.

  2. We met Jeannie at church and had an instant bond with her. She was the sweetest person ever! Gentle and kind. Her smile and faith in God were both encouraging to say the least. I offer my sincere condolences to her family during this very difficult time.
