Joan Stewart McQuiddy PRAIRIEVILLE, La. – A wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend to many lost her battle to Parkinson’s at the age of 76. Mom was a home maker and loved by friends and family who passed away comfortably on February 11, 2025. She is survived by her two sons, Craig Robertson McQuiddy, Jr. and Collin Stewart McQuiddy. Mimi is also survived by her two grandchildren Hannah Grace McQuiddy and Parker Austin McQuiddy. Mrs. McQuiddy also has one surviving brother, William R Stewart, and finally her beloved companion Molly, cocker spaniel. Mom attended the University of South Carolina. Family was the most important thing to her; she loved to entertain and make people feel welcomed into her home. Mom/Mimi will be missed by all her loved ones who are left behind.
