It is with tremendously deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Jeffrey Michael Easter, who left us on January 27, 2025 after a long illness. Jeffrey was born on August 25, 1989 in Fort Worth, Texas, to Michael Bryan Easter, and Jennifer Sherri Easter. From a young age, Jeffrey was known for his curiosity and unlimited energy. He was home schooled from Kindergarten to third grade, and attended private school in the fourth grade where he excelled at his studies. He had a natural love for learning and exploration, always seeking new adventures. Jeffrey’s love for animals was evident in his lifelong companionship with pets, particularly dogs, which he enjoyed teaching tricks and playing with. One of his greatest passions was the sport of skateboarding. Around the age of 9, Jeffrey was given his first skateboard and spent countless hours outside with his friends, mastering tricks like grinding curbs, jumping ramps, and performing kick flips. His determination to perfect every trick was unwavering, and this love for skateboarding continued well into his 30’s. In his teenage years, Jeffrey moved with his family to Bentonville, Arkansas, where he quickly found friends who shared his love for skating. Around this time, his interest in music blossomed. Jeffrey self taught himself how to play both the drums and electric guitar, and joined a metal band who played in a local venue. He also composed music and lyrics to over 300 songs, which he shared with his family members. Jeffrey loved fast cars. He often purchased cars that he could work on and modify. He would make these cars race ready and participated in drift events with others who shared his passion. He loved to take his unsuspecting mother out for drift runs, which she secretly enjoyed, and then laugh when she screamed to slow down! In his early twenties, Jeffrey returned to Texas, where he worked alongside his father, grandfather, and cousin, learning the trade of HVAC apprentice technician in the family business for three years. Outside of work, he had a love for collecting knives and guns. He spent many hours practicing hitting targets, and even built his own shotgun. At the age of 33, Jeffrey met the love of his life, Mackenzie, and together they had a beautiful daughter, Emberlynn, naming her after the embers that flew from the backyard fires they sat around. He loved that little girl and treasured every moment they had together. He was so proud of her. Jeffrey was deeply saddened at the passing of his paternal grandmother, affectionately known as Nanny, in December 2023. They had a way of teasing and joking with each other that he loved. Jeffrey is survived by his parents, Michael, and Sherri, his sister Mikayla, and nephew Alton, his daughter Emberlynn, and her mother Mackenzie, two grandfathers, and grandmother, and numerous uncles, aunts, and cousins. He will be missed beyond measure. We take comfort in the hope of seeing him again on that glorious resurrection day. Jeffrey will be laid to rest at the Dicey Cemetery in Weatherford, Texas, following a private ceremony with his family. But the mercy of the LORD is from everlasting to everlasting upon them that fear Him, and His righteousness unto children’s children. Psalm 103:17
