Judy Diane Weaver
Judy Diane Weaver, 77, of Granbury Texas, passed away in Ft. Worth Texas on Sunday, December 1, 2024. She was born on March 21, 1947 in Ft. Worth Texas to the late James Odis and Vallie Bea Morse. She married the love of her life, James Talbert Weaver Sr on April 22, 1966. They met at church, dated for 6 months, and then got married. Their union was God ordained. They always called each other boyfriend and girlfriend. They have three children: son, James Talbert Weaver Jr(and wife Cynthia Weaver), daughter, Judy Michelle Browning(and husband Ressie Browning), and son, Jason Odis Weaver. They also have 11 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. There are also many nieces and nephews and friends. She was known for saying that her family was her life. They were together for 59 years and married for 58 years. They had a very wonderful life together. It was full of love, happiness, joy and laughter. She was a very loving and dedicated wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved God and her family with all of her heart. To her husband she was “Honey”, to her children she was “Mommy”, and to her grandchildren she was “Nanny”. She was a shining light for Jesus to us all. She was a wonderful woman of God who showed and shared God’s love with everyone. She was so beautiful, inside and out. She enjoyed time with her family the most. She also enjoyed bird watching, sunflowers, camping, crocheting, dancing and gospel music. She liked to collect angels and windchimes. She was preceeded in death by her parents and four siblings; one sister JoAnn Collard, and three brothers Don, Jerry, and Ricky Morse. We will miss her very much. However, we have peace in knowing that she is in heaven with our Heavenly Father and we will be with her again someday.

  1. So very sorry for you loss. A parent is hard to forget. I lost my daddy a year ago and it’s still hard. Now also dealing with my husbands passing in Nov. I pray that God takes them in his hands and keep them happy until we can rejoin them in heaven for a wonderful reunion.

  2. I am deeply saddened by the loss of my great aunt Judy Weaver. She was always full of laughter, joy, and an infectious energy that made every moment with her unforgettable. Her love for dancing, her warm and comforting hugs, and her ability to make everyone around her smile will forever be cherished. I will miss her dearly, but I will always hold onto the beautiful memories we shared. Rest peacefully, Aunt Judy—you will always be in my heart.

  3. one of the brightest Lights and witness for God , I have ever met. She always had time to talk and pray with you, would listen as long as you needed to talk and she would always give the biggest hugs.
    I know she is dancing and singing loud and enjoying that mansion God prepared for her. I know she is healthy and we will see her again some day! I know Ms. Daizee was there to meet her too, her other family greeted her !
    For her sweet J.T. what a love story! they were genuinely made for each other! I have know this amazing for years and call them family! Michelle is my sister and those boys my brothers, they ARE family. God bless

    I’ve never met a more connected to each other family and their bond is unbroken, as they now attempt to go forward without this beautiful women, I pray for peace and comfort and know I’m always here. Love and hugs forever. I LOVE YOU ALL

  4. Judy was such a beautiful woman and soul. The sweetest person you will ever meet. Loving and kind and always such a joy to be around.
    I pray her family finds peace and comfort from the pain of their loss. I pray Jesus heals them as only he can.

  5. It’s hard to fathom that my aunt Judy is gone. I literally grew up with her and she was a sweetest person. I pray God‘s peace and comfort will overtake, Jamie, Michelle, and Jason and all of the family.
