JESSICA LYNN WILLIAMS
In Loving Memory of Jessica Lynn Williams June 23, 1962 – November 21, 2024 Jessica Lynn Williams was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Her heart belonged entirely to her family. She was always worrying because she cared so deeply. Her love for her husband, children, and grandchildren were above and beyond. Jessica always put the needs of those she loved before her own, carrying the weight of the world on her shoulders with grace and strength. Her greatest joy came from seeing her loved ones happy, and she would sacrifice anything to ensure their well-being. Jessica found contentment in life’s simple moments: a trip to the grocery store, the thrill of the casinos, folding laundry, cleaning house, enjoying movies, game shows, home improvement shows and courtroom dramas. These small everyday pleasures brought her laughter, peace and happiness and they will forever remain a cherished part of her legacy. An enthusiastic traveler, Jessica ventured to some of the nation’s most iconic cities-Los Angeles, New York, Chicago, Denver, Miami, New Orleans, Las Vegas, and many more. Her favorite things to do were sightseeing city tours, boat tours, attending comedy shows, relaxing on sandy beaches, savoring meals at fine restaurants and even enjoying the amenities at the Hilton hotels. Every trip brought new experiences, and always bringing back memories to sharing with her loved ones. Jessica’s bond with her two German Shepherds, Maxi and Thor, was unique and profound. More than just pets, they were her family-her loyal companions, her therapy, protectors, and sources of comfort. She shared an unspoken connection with them, and they stood by her side through thick and thin, offering the same unwavering love she gave them. Jessica is survived by her loving husband, Cornell Williams; her siblings, Angela Smith and Michael Smith; her children, Derek Crawford, Terrell Williams, Myka Williams, and Jaylin Williams; her grandchildren, Aniyah Williams, Noah Williams, Adalynne Williams, Lyneigha Nevaeh, Jaiden Crawford, Mary Crawford, and Messiah Crawford; as well as many other family members and friends who will miss her dearly. Remembering Jessica. Though the world did not always see her worth, she shone with a light that could not be dimmed. Misunderstood, but never broken, her love was a gift-freely given, yet often stolen. In the quiet of her heart, a strength untold, now in peace, her soul finds rest, pure and bold. Jessica’s love, her laughter, and her quiet strength will remain in the hearts of all who knew her. She was a gift to us, and though she is no longer here, her memory will live on in all the lives she touched. Revelation 14:13 KJV And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours; and their works do follow them.

  14. Dear Mom, not a day goes by that I don’t think about you. You were the one person who always made sure I was okay. You had such a loving way of putting my needs first, yet I never saw it as a burden to take care of you too. It was my joy.

I think about the times I brought you to your doctor appointments, how we’d talk along the way or sit quietly, just content to be in each other’s company. I remember making sure you had breakfast and lunch every day. Those moments might have seemed small, but they were everything to me. It was my way of showing you how much I loved you, though words often failed to express it.

Now that you’re in a better place, I find myself missing you more than I ever thought possible. Life feels a little quieter, a little emptier without you here. But I find peace in knowing that you’re no longer in pain, no longer burdened by the challenges of this world. I know you’re watching over me, just as you always did.

Thank you, Mom, for your love, for your care, and for teaching me what it means to truly give to others. I carry those lessons with me every day, and I hope I’m making you proud. I’ll keep taking care of myself, just like you would want me to, but I’ll never stop missing you.

Until we meet again, know that you’ll always live on in my heart.

    With all my love,
    Your baby boy
