It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Jesse Eugene Pistokache, a resident of Joshua, Texas on Tuesday, November 5, 2024. Jesse was born October 11, 1954, to John William and Edith Pearl Montgomery in Fort Worth, Texas. Jesse attended OD Wyatt High School and started working straight when he left school. Jesse was a very hardworking man and would do anything he could to help a stranger in need, including giving the shirt off his back. By trade, Jesse was a truck driver but you he should have been a comedian because he was always telling jokes and trying to make people laugh. Jesse and Donna Pistokache got married June 17,1982 but did reside together for a few years before their marriage. While together, they had two children Angela Pistokache and Jesse Pistokache Jr. In the summer of 1994, Jesse and his family moved to Joshua, Texas where he lived until his passing. Jesse enjoyed rebuilding vehicles and you would often find him outside doing stuff when he was home. He was an avid gunsmith and historian that could give you facts of any war from years past. Jesse was an honest man and worked hard for everything that he received. Survived by wife Donna Pistokache of Joshua, Texas, son Jesse Pistokache Jr. of Joshua, Texas, daughter Angela Prichard (Chris) of Burleson, Texas, daughter Lisa Cherryhomes (John) of Monument, Colorado, sister Sandy Lock (Joe) of Alvarado, Texas, sister-in-law Robbie Pistokache of Burleson, Texas, granddaughters; Kayleigh Pistokache, Tayla Pistokache-Doyle, Zoe Prichard, Alyssa Cherryhomes, Madison Baker, Julie Frees, grandsons; Nicholas Pistokache, Courbin Prichard. Preceded in death by parents, John William and Edith Pearl Pistokache, siblings; Mike Pistokache, Johnny Pistokache, Wils Grimes, and Patricia Grimes. A private celebration of his life is planned for a later date.

I am so sorry for y’alls loss. Jesse was a very nice man. He will be missed. He was always joking around with me when I worked at the L.P.M.X . Always a smile on his face.
For 48 years Jesse was not just a brother in law, he was a brother and since my 2 brother siblings had already passed on, Jesse was my only brother left. Now it is with great sorrow that my last brother has passed on. May he RIP, until we meet again! Love you Brother!
