It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Robert Lawrence Armentrout of Denton, Texas. He passed away on Wednesday, October 9th. Bob was a caring and kind father to his two daughters, McKaye Day and Shelbi Armentrout. He dearly loved his four grandchildren, Kingston, Magnolia, and Morrison Day, and Evelyn Tomlin. He will also be missed by his younger sister, Kim Stovall, nephew Jessie Stovall, and niece Danielle Mauldin. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Jeanne Armentrout of Ohio and his older sister Suzanne Jeanne Stutz. Bob was born and raised in Dayton, Ohio. He moved to Texas in his later 20’s and that is where he started his family. Bob loved to take long walks with his rescue dog, Joplin. He grew up playing baseball and stayed passionate about it his whole life. He loved music and never missed a chance to go to a concert. He was the best story teller and knew a fact on almost any subject you could think of. He loved the Lord. He was an avid Christmas decorator and loved eggnog. We will have a celebration of life at a date to be determined. Thank you for everything, Dad. We will love you forever.
