Leonard R. Calverley
Leonard R. Calverley passed away on October 14, 2024, at the age of 88. Leonard was born on August 4, 1936, in Forney, Texas He is survived by his wife, Paula Craft Calverley. His daughter in law Regina Calverley; stepsister Sarah Baird; sister-in-law Pam Brown (Andy) and brother-in-law Philip Craft (Milli). Stepchildren Paul Brown, Amy Brown Pannell, and Patrick Brown (Jami). Grandchildren Zachary Brown (Patrice) Alyssa Pannell, Nathan Brown, Kyle Brown, Cory Calverley, Cassi Chrisman, Ashley C. Ricardson (Shane), Barrett Calverley (Ashlee) Great grandchildren Olivia Brown, Matthew Brown, Brelyn Calverley, Bryson Huffines, Lexi Richardson, Hadlee Richardson, Madi Mae Calverley and Beckett Calverley. He was preceded in death by his mother Willie Mae Willmon Calverley, his father Charles A. Calverley, his brother Charles E. (Eddy) Calverley Sr and his two sons Robert (Bobby) Glen Calverley and Mark S. Calverley. Leonard had an unbelievable work ethic, going back to be certified to work in pest control after retiring. His motto always being “If you’re not early you’re late” He genuinely loved the entire BIG family he was a part of from the smallest and youngest to the biggest and oldest. There are no services planned at present. In lieu of flowers please donate to North Texas Food Bank, The Alzheimer’s Association, and/or The American Heart Association.

  3. Leonard was such a nice guy. He was always smiling. He frequently talked about how much he loved Paula and you could see the twinkle in his eye when he talked about her. He was such a pleasure to be around. Such a sweet man.
