Mark Edward Browning, known affectionately as “Markie,” passed away on August 30, 2024, in Grand Prairie, Texas, at the age of 27. Born on September 24, 1996, in Westminster, Colorado, Mark grew into a compassionate, loving, and generous individual, respected and cherished by all who knew him. Mark attended Sky View High School in Thornton, Colorado, and continued his education at Job Corp in Salt Lake City, Utah, and MT Training Center in Grand Prairie, Texas. His professional life was dedicated to welding and driving semi-trucks, skills that he not only mastered but also enjoyed as hobbies. In addition to his work, Mark was passionate about spending quality time with his friends and family and watching movies. He attended Crossroads Christian Church, where he found spiritual solace and community. Mark’s life was framed by his courteous and respectful demeanor, qualities that endeared him to many. Mark is survived by his mother, Sheila Browning (Brethauer); sister, Vanessa Campos (Browning), and her husband, Israel (Jose) Campos; nephew, Israel Campos-Browning; niece, Keila Campos-Browning; brother, Taylor Browning; grandmother, Carol (Kathy) Brethauer (Wright); his cherished dog daughter, Jasmine Isabella; and numerous Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins. Mark was preceded in death by his father, Robert Browning; grandparents, Ivan Brethauer, Helen Browning (Trujillo), and John Browning; cousin, Dylan Moore; and several friends and extended family members. A private viewing will be held on September 10, 2024, in Fort Worth, Texas. A gathering of friends and family will follow later in the month. Details of the gathering are to be confirmed. Sheila, That is a beautiful tribute to your son. He was so well loved for the sweet and thoughtful person he had become. Many, many of us will miss his smile and his gentle ways.
