Springtown, Texas – Jeffery Wayne Griffin left this earth to be with the Lord on Tuesday, September 3, 2024. Jeff was born in Tarrant County, Texas on October 26, 1962. He was a loving father and grandfather. He was married for 38 years and raised 3 children. Jeff worked in the sheet metal industry for 39 years and was a successful estimator for the last 17 years of his career. He was very active in church singing, teaching, and volunteering. He began pastoring Clearfork Baptist Church in 2004 and then founded Heritage Baptist Church in 2010. Preaching and helping others were his passions. Jeff had a “bigger than life” personality and had the ability to make anyone laugh. He was a handyman and could fix almost anything. He loved his family with all his heart and would do anything for them. Survivors: daughters, Whitnie Stinnett and husband, Zach; Leiah Wimberley and husband, Kade; son Lucas Griffin; granddaughters, Averie Wimberley and Eden Stinnett; and grandson Karter Wimberley; sisters, Debbie Thrasher, Vickie Hanson and husband, Guy; brother, Randy Griffin and wife, Denise; and several nieces and nephews.

Definitely missing my buddy up here at Springtown Park!! I was his nurse on the weekends! He was the kindest loving man i’ve ever met and i’m so glad I got to know him! He’s definitely missed up here by sooo many!! We love you Jeff!!
