MICHAEL WAYNE BIRKERT
Michael Wayne Birkert, 59 , A beloved husband, father, Pawpaw, brother and friend to many , passed away August 26, 2024 in  Grand Prairie, Texas with his loving wife, kids and grandkids by his side. He was born June 10,1965 to Buddy and Dorothy Birkert in Dallas, Texas. Michael married the love of his life Develda on December 18, 1993. They had 2 daughters and 4 grandkids that were his world. Michael worked in the pipeline construction business for the last 25 years. In his spare time he loved riding his Harley and hotrods. He loved being outdoors and spending time with family and friends. Michael leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories that will forever be etched into the hearts of those who knew him. Michael also shared a special bond with his 3 sisters and 2 brothers. Though we mourn our loss deeply, we take solace in knowing Michael now rest peacefully in eternal serenity surrounded by endless love. Michael is preceded in death by his father George (Buddy)Birkert, mother Dorothy Birkert. Grand parents Hamby and Joyce Birkert. Survived by his loving wife Develda Birkert, Daughters Erica(Michael) Stringer, Cristi(Eric) Casey, Grandchildren Michael Dwayne (Krisitan) Birkert, Cody (Bayleigh) Stringer, Chloe Stringer, Caylee Casey. Sisters Suzanne (David) Spurlock, Misty Birkert, Cindy (Blu) Harris, Brothers Billy (Mandy) Harris, Lesley (Cristina) Birkert. Numerous, cousins, nieces and nephews as well as an abundance of friends. A Celebration of Life will be held September 22, 2024 from 2:30pm-4:40pm 1601 NE Green Oaks Arlington Tx 76006

  5. I only met Mike one time., but his personality did shine and we had a good time and some laughs at the reunion, which I felt let me know who he was as a person . So glad I met him. Condolences to the family and his friends. RIP Mike. Always love to my family.
