Keith Alan McCreight, born on September 19, 1954, in Fort Worth, Texas, passed away at the age of 69 in the same city on August 11, 2024. Keith’s journey through life was marked by a profound commitment to his faith, a deep love for his family, and a passion for sports. Educated locally, Keith attended White Settlement ISD graduating from C.F. Brewer High School. He furthered his studies at Tarrant County Community College (TCCC) and Purvis Real Estate Training Institute. His professional life was diverse and fulfilling, with roles at General Dynamics, Cheryl Rider and Associates, and Hartford Realty Group, where he made lasting contributions and formed lifelong friendships. Keith’s big personality was full of humor, loyalty, kindness and compassion. He was a man who cherished his relationships, whether they were with his beloved family or with friends who he’d had throughout his life. An avid sports enthusiast, Keith’s love for the game was all-encompassing, whether it was cheering for the Texas Rangers, the Chicago Cubs, or the Las Vegas Raiders. However, his interests went beyond mere spectatorship, as sports formed a cornerstone of his social interactions and personal joy that began in his early childhood. His commitment to his faith was unwavering; he read the Bible daily and held a steadfast belief in his salvation through Jesus Christ. He truly loved the Lord with all his heart. He leaves behind a loving family, including his daughter Myka Bradley and her husband Chris, his son William Connor McCreight, his sister Gay Pfitzinger, his grandsons Colten and Carson Bradley, his ex-wife and caregiver Tracey Bowers and her husband Tommy, his nephew David Pfitzinger, and numerous other relatives and friends who will miss him dearly. Keith was preceded in death by his parents, Joe Tom and Billie Jo McCreight and a niece Erin Mullen. Keith’s life was a testament to his enduring faith, his love for sports, and his unwavering commitment to his family and friends. His legacy will continue to inspire those who knew him, and he will be profoundly missed. A celebration of Keiths life will be held at a later date. “In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.” John 14:2-3 KJV “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” John 14:6 KJV
