Fort Worth, TX – Grady Ray Lewis passed away on June 18 in Fort Worth. He was born on August 5, 1972 in Great Lakes, IL. Predeceased by his father, Chelsey Ray Lewis in 2006; Grady is survived by his wife Misty, daughter Gillian, sons Jimmy and Nolan; mother Mary Lewis; sister Liska Best, niece Nikki, nephews Hal and Quin and many other relatives and friends. Because of his father’s Navy career, Grady lived all over the country and world until he was 14. Grady graduated from Crowley High School in 1990. He attended college at UTA and worked in restaurant management and pollution control. Grady lived being a dad and enjoyed cooking. He had a soft heart, and although he didn’t always have much himself, often helped many others who had less. A celebration of life will be held Saturday, July 20 at 10 am in the Fellowship Hall at Edge Park United Methodist Church. Grady was a T-shirt and jeans guy and would not want anyone to be uncomfortable, so casual dress is encouraged. Anyone who wants to share a memory of Grady will have a chance to do so. In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to the American Heart Association or the American Diabetes Association.

Grady was a I cherish. I cherished him for his realism, his empathetic heart, and his attitude about living life, so adventurously. It is good to hear the caliber person he became. I knew it was always there. Grady blessings to you and my appreciations and Grady cross the path of my life, ministry and journey.
