Stephen Taylor White passed away unexpectedly on June 3, 2024 of what we presume was a massive heart attack in Dallas. We are grateful to his business partner for the immediate intervention and beginning of CPR. Resuscitation efforts were continued by Dallas EMS and staff at Baylor Dallas Downtown, but were unsuccessful. Steve was born in Lubbock, TX on July 9, 1960. Steve was preceded in death by his father Elbert Miller White and his mother Sylvia Dell Turner White. Steve is survived by his spouse Kim, Son Trevor (Hannah), and granddaughters Willow Harper and Micah Grace and will be missed by his dogs, Sebastian, Murphy, & Baxter and the kitties. Steve grew up in Texas and spent some time with his dad in Arizona. Steve was a graduate of Little Elm High School in Little Elm, TX. He started his college year at North Texas in music school and ultimately finished college at LeTourneau University. He was married to Kim for just over 30 years. He was a wonderful husband and partner. She expressed that she always felt very secure that she was loved and cherished. They welcomed son Stephen Trevor in 1996. Steve was a faithful follower of Christ and had recently again expressed that he was ready to go, whenever God called him home. He loved being Papaw to Willow and Micah. He was determined to be their favorite grandpa. He had already promised ponies, or whatever their hearts desired. He worked in the IT staffing business for over 25 years. In October 2016, he started TTS Technologies with son Trevor White and Tyler Palko. Steve was an accomplished guitarist. He began playing when he was 14 years old. He played all genres, but his favorite was Jazz. He played lead guitar in various bands over the years and was eager for retirement next year. He planned to play 2-4 nights a week in retirement, hoping to be able to play more styles than just the Top 40 & Country that he had been doing for many years throughout the DFW music scene. A celebration of life will be held at Walnut Ridge Baptist Church in Mansfield, TX at 10 am on June 18, 2024. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to pawsinthecity.org a local animal rescue organization. Steve was a compassionate soul who consistently put others before himself. He had a larger than life personality and loved his family fiercely. Many have expressed their love for Steve and how he touched their lives. We will forever miss our Steeeeve, but are comforted that we know he is with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ in heaven.
