Dallas, TX- Chase Gamradt died unexpectedly at the Dallas Regional Mesquite emergency hospital at 11:54AM on June 4, 2024. He was 38 years old. Chase was predeceased by his grandmother Donna Gamradt, grandfather Jim Senko and a stillborn sister, Jacklyn. Chase is survived by his father and mother, Derek and Lori, as well as his brothers Connor and Trevor. Survivors also include his grandfather John Gamradt and grandmother Mary Senko. He will be dearly missed by his long-time soulmate, Jennifer, and his trusty Mastiff-mix canine companion, Yoshimi. There is a long list of aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends that are mourning his passing. He was a 2003 graduate of McKinney High School and attended the University of North Texas. Chase mastered all elements of the restaurant business and managed several different places over the years Chase was a man of many talents. His quick wit and humor was legendary. His knowledge of sports was encyclopedic and he dearly loved his Dallas Stars, Cowboys and Texas Rangers. There was no topic that Chase could not provide a reasoned opinion about and he was a trivia genius. He also was an aficionado of small batch crafted beer. Any sommelier would be grateful for his ability to discern flavors. Chase never met a stranger and made friends in every room he walked into. He was such a personality that one of his biggest unmet goals was to get in a fist fight just once in his life to see how he would do, but there was always a stranger nearby that would stick up for Chase and everyone ended up hugging it out. Chase was also an avid music fan and an accomplished bass guitar player and loved performing (barefoot) on stage. His favorite bands included Tool, David Bowie, Cake and Pink Floyd. He jumped out of an airplane skydiving, traveled internationally, lived in 4 states, and faced his biggest fear of all by going into the murky deep in a shark cage in Hawaii. A celebration of Chases life will be held at a future date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention www.afsp.org .
