I remember going through the drive thru at Taco Bell with Michelle and Stephen. He said, “Which fatty got the big taco salad ?”. We laughed so hard. So simple yet so entertaining to us teenagers. I said it’s mine! We giggled some more. We were about the skinniest you could be. He always made me laugh. Such a great guy. Sending condolences, hugs and love
Steve was a good friend of mine about 12 years ago. You did great with the obituary. I’m sorry to hear of your loss. I started attending meetings again about 9 years ago, so that’s about how long it’s been since I’ve seen him. I am glad he wasn’t alone when he passed.
He really did have a booming laugh. I worked with him at Applebees in 2012 /2013. The description of him you have is perfect. He will be missed, by me and countless others. RIP Shaggy. Sorry you’re gone and looking forward to seeing you again one day.
Stephen was a very presious one.
We will miss him. He attended the Memorial of Jesus death with us on March 24th and we were so happy to have him with us. May Jehovah remember him in the resurrection. Stephen was loved.
What a fun cousin to have had. My heart hurts from the life and experiences lost so young. But, I will always remember us as kids going to the Beach Boys concert and summer road trip vacations to Arizona to see our great grandparents. Any time spent with family, you were there, you were never too good for anyone, you truly just loved everyone. I learned so much about comedy and comic books from you. You, Michelle & I would record silly skits and commercials on mixed tapes, that was the best. You had so much creativity. I could hear you in your room playing with your toys as a kid. You would make explosion noises and sound effects, it was how I wanted to be. I’m happy we got to tell each other how much we loved the other. Until I see you again in God’s new world I am assured that you are safe in God’s memory. And soon He will fulfill His promise at Isaiah 25:8 “He will swallow up death forever, And the Sovereign Lord Jehovah will wipe away the tears from all faces.” I will get to embrace you again and together we can embrace our beloved Dad’s and have tons of laughs with those jokesters.
Ramona, We were so sorry to hear about Stephen. I had not seen him in a few years. I think the last time was a Memorial at our hall. I remember him an Jeremy playing together when they were kids. Even though we have the hope of the resurrection it’s only normal to grieve. I think 1 Thessalonians 4:13 puts it best. I look forward to seeing Stephen and Gary again soon.
