Obituaries

Gloria Piserchia
In loving memory of Gloria Piserchia, born on Staten Island, New York City in 1936, who found eternal peace in Texas in January 2024. Although spending most of her life in Norwalk, Connecticut, she remained a very proud New Yorker. She enjoyed her career and fellow associates working in the Connecticut Public Defender’s Office, playing tennis and being an avid traveler with Paris being her favorite foreign city. Her greatest joy was sharing love, laughter and time with family and friends. She is survived by her loving husband of 66 years Carl, their daughter Gail and husband Jerry, their son Stephen and wife Laurie as well as grandsons, Carl and wife Savanna, Eric and Brian. Hopefully God and St. Peter were prepared for her spirited New York personality. Donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association in her honor.
