I just saw this Ray has been fixing my Sprinklers for ghe past six years. My condolences to the family. God Bless!!
Ray and I grew up with our older brother Ron and younger sister Diane. We had a cherished childhood but went our own ways when we became young adults. Ray was always smart and funny! I’ve lived away from him for 50 years but our love for him has never wavered. I never thought I’d feel so broken, it’s a great loss. It’s hard to believe he’s gone, we spoke and texted just a few days ago. Words cannot express how I feel about the passing of such a special person I cared for so much. He will truly be missed. Prayers are with you Fran.
Thank You Robin.
We were saddened to hear of Ray’s passing. He was our sprinkler man for 20 years. He was hard working, honest, a mechanical whiz, and kind. We enjoyed talking as he worked, and were impressed by the knives and gadgets he was always making. He was a man of remarkable character, and we will enjoy seeing him again God’s heaven. I’m sure he will have already heard these words from Christ himself, “Well done, my good and faithful servant!”
Ray is up in heaven fixing sprinklers and any gadgets he can find
Ray was my “sprinkler guy” for about 10 years, and I always enjoyed our interactions. Honest, hard working, pleasant. My conolences to his family.

SO sorry for your loss, Fran. Know that you are in my prayers. I know the pain of t hat kind of loss.
I can’t remember a time when he didn’t come to my rescue after my son tried to fix the sprinkler system himself. He always had a smile on his face and seemed to enjoy straightening out my mess!
He will certainly be missed by all who were close to him.
Thank You for the kind words. Ray was a good man
Fran, Ray was such a good man! All aspects of his character were noble and true. We are so lucky to have known him. He will be missed as a friend and as a business man! We send our deepest sympathies to you and your family!
We really liked and valued the wonderful job Ray did for our family. He took pride in his work and I know the family is proud of him. He was a blessing!
An amazing man! I was lucky enough to meet Ray in his final months of life. During that time, I learned that he was incredibly intelligent and could fix anything ( I was lucky enough the get a tour of his mad scientist lair). He was strong, independent, and loved his wife. He will be greatly missed.
Fran, you are a remarkable person and the care you gave to Ray was unmatched.
Thank You for your kind words. Ray had the best health care and Gateway Hospice gave us the support to make Ray comfortable.
Fran, I sent my message in a card. But there is so much more to elaborate on when I think about Ray and his caring for you.
Thanks mom.
I am so very sorry for your loss of Ray. Words cannot express the heart ache you must have. I pray everyday that God will bless you and keep you safe and help you heal. I love you Fran.
Fran,
I’m so sorry to hear about Rays passing. I only heard about it today and was so surprised. I thought the world of Ray. I considered him a good friend. If I can help you in any way please let me know.

I first met Ray in 1979, when we both showed at the same job. We became instant friends. My wife Sam and I spent many great days and evenings at their home. Later, I moved to Hawaii and lost touch. My heart is heavy to hear the news.
So sorry to hear that for many many years Ray took care of me and my neighbors on Willowbrook and Duncanville. Just found out explains why his phone number is disconnected.
I’m saddened we didn’t hear of Ray’s passing at the time . Larry and I were shocked to read of this last week or so. We, and Larry especially loved the few times they got to talk with each other and yes Ray was very helpful in fixing up the little dresser for our great grandaughter. Was going to give you a call to see if you and him were still into redoing furniture. Have a Grandmothers Singer sewing machine needs to be turned into a vanity. Our prayers and thoughts are with you Fran and if you ever need to talk just messenger me and I’ll call you.
Ray Young and I were friends for 20 years or more. I moved to Hawaii and lost touch. I was saddened to suddenly hear of his passing from Fran. My very sincere condolences on the passing of my friend
