Ft. Worth- Joe Bob Wilmore 72, passed away Friday November 3, 2023. Joe Bob Wilmore was a Musician who grew up in Oak Cliff playing the drums in different bands as Lead Drummer & Back Up Drummer with Stevie Ray Vaughn, Kim Davis, Prismo Umbert, Don Tanner, Bobby Cartlidge, Lynn Fisher, John Nixon, Jimmy Vaughn, Barbara Mandrell, Oak Ridge Boys, Jimmy Bowman, Christian De Plicque, and others. Joe Bob loved music and telling stories about his days playing around venues in Arcadia Park, Oak Cliff and Dallas hot spots. Survivors include his Daughters Brenda Lee Wilmore Walton of Palestine, TX , Kelley Joe Wilmore Turner of Ft. Worth & Patricia Joellen Wilmore. Grandchildren include Logan Turner, Samantha Turner, Kevin Lee Cheshier, Justin Lee Cheshier, Brittany Jean Whistler, Colton Alex Wilmore, Jami Guerra, Darren Wilmore, Errick Wilmore, Desire (Shay) Wilmore, Andrea Wilmore Roberson; as well as nine great-grand children. A Private Memorial will be held at a later date at Crystal Beach, Texas. Cremation arrangements by Lone Star Cremation.
