Beverly Brooks
Beverly Brooks died on October 20, 2023. She was born on August 12, 1947, in Kansas City, Kansas, to the union of Willie Mae (Parker) and William Bobo. Beverly is preceded in death by both parents, brother Marcus Bobo and sister Cheryl Courtney Evans. Beverly graduated from high school Argentine High School, in Argentine, KS. She would later receive her certification in Electronic Assembly from Maple Woods Community College, before starting her employment at Western Electric (AT&T, now Lucent). After 20 plus years with Western Electric/AT&T, she joined Sunshine Biscuits/Keebler, before retiring in 2003. Having lived in Kansas City all of her life, she moved in her later years to the Dallas/Ft. Worth area, where she enjoyed the rest of her life with her children and 4 grandchildren, 3 bonus grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren, 3 bonus great-grandchildren. Beverly was an avid reader, collector of all things frogs, and loved to knit, gardening, and put puzzles together. She leaves behind to treasure her memory, children Delisa Regan (Marcus)of Savannah, Texas; Shena’ Young of Cross Roads, Texas; Yolanda McConnell (LeRoy) of St. Paul, Texas; grandchildren Thalen Shiver (Sierra) of Little Elm, Texas; Kendall McConnell, Kennedy McConnell, and Kennison McConnell of St. Paul,Texas; Amber Regan and Justin Regan of Kansas City, Kansas; Jordan Regan Seattle, Washington, great grandchildren Zoe Shiver, Kobe Shiver, and Emory Shiver of Little Elm, Texas; Kristian Beard and Kayden Beard of Kansas City, Kansas; JayVeon Regan of Arlington, Texas, sisters, Lois Hickman of Kansas City, Kansas and Anna (Athalia) Falkenstein of Atlanta, GA;
