Billy James Haley, 70, of Millsap went to be with the Lord on Sunday September 17th, 2023, in Weatherford, TX while surrounded by his loved ones. Billy was born in Paris, TX on June 26th, 1953, to James William Haley and Dorothy Lee Haley. He married Brenda Leola Pilkington on September 7th, 1971. Billy grew up in Broken Bow, Oklahoma where he worked with his father cutting down trees and hauling pulp wood; He later became a heavy equipment operator. His many interests included working on cars, fishing, and tending to his chickens. He had endless knowledge of every year, make and model of any car that drove by. He also collected anything that had Coca-Cola on it. He was very close with his family, and loved his wife, children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and his dog, Izzy, with all his heart! He was proceeded in death by his brother Ricky Haley, his father James William Haley and mother Dorothy Lee Whitten. He is survived by his wife Brenda Haley of 52 years, his son William and wife Lisa Haley of Millsap; daughter Dana and husband Dirk Lee of Millsap. His siblings, Cindy and husband Billy Johnson of Idabel, OK; Brother Steve and wife Darlene Haley of Broken Bow, OK; and Corey Haley of La Marque, TX. He has 7 grandchildren. Ashtin McClure, Kadin Haley, Deagan Haley, Kelsey Lee, Dalton Lee, Brayden Lee, and Spencer Auld. He has 8 great grandchildren with one on the way. A Celebration of Life for Billy Haley will be held on October 7th at 2pm at Grace Community Fellowship. Located at 111 W Ranch Ln. Weatherford, TX. In Lieu of flowers you can donate to the American Kidney Foundation in honor of Billy Haley.

My condolences to the family! I know It is hard when your loved one leaves earth, it is hard to be without them!
When I miss my parents, I think about how they are waiting for me. When I see them, they will be young, , healthy, happy and whole! I can’t wait to see them like that! I look forward to seeing Billy line that as well!
