Jacqueline L. Hayden
Jacqueline “Jackie” Hayden passed away on July 7, 2023 in Dallas, Texas due to complications related to heart surgery. She was born on December 16, 1947 in Peoria, Illinois. Jackie was truly a caring, compassionate, and kind soul who unconditionally loved her family with all her heart. She didn’t know a stranger and was a best friend to so many (including her children and grandchildren) where she shined as a great listener who was easy to talk to and quick to forgive. She had the gift of laughter and a quick wit that put a smile on anyone’s face. She always enjoyed doing for and taking care of others, which led her into a career as a caregiver for many years prior to retirement. Jackie is preceded in death by her husband, Charles, in 2011. She is survived by her children, Rhonda and Nikki; her grandchildren, Hannah, Danielle, and Emma; and her cat, Lucy. She will be missed dearly by her family and friends. A celebration of Jackie’s life will take place in a private ceremony at a later date, where her ashes will be spread with her husband’s at a lake where they did what they loved most: camping, fishing, and making sweet memories with those they called family.
