Mark Allen Pelham
Mark Allen Pelham, 49, of Blum, Tx passed away Friday July 28,2023 at his residence in Blum with his Aunt “Nessa”, Vanessa Laxson. Mark was born on May 4, 1974, in Hubbard, Tx, to Marsha Lynn Pelham, and Edward Daryl Pelham, and from that day forward had a special place in everyone’s heart. Mark enjoyed playing games, playing trivia questions with company, and loved the computer, and listening to 1970’s and 1980’s music. He enjoyed watching older movies as well, a pastime, that he once shared with his mother. Mark was preceded in death by; his mother Marsha Lynn Pelham (Gilpin); his grandparent’s Oran Lee Halbert, and Gerry Ann Halbert; his aunt DeeDee Braswell, and his cousin Jesse Clint Braswell. He is survived by his brother and sister – Nickki Dawn Walter and husband John of Stephenville, TX, Dickki Lynn Gilpin and his wife Cindy Gilpin of Temple, Tx., three aunts; Vanessa Laxson of Blum, Tx, Vola Bahl and husband Mike, of Rio Vista, Tx, and Terri Land and husband Ellic, of Mississippi, several cousins including Tamra Nawara of Blum, Russell Coffman of Peoria, Brian Gilpin of Rio Vista, Becky Voyles of Mississippi, Billy Braswell of Whitney, and Johnny Braswell of Cleburne, several nieces and nephews, as well as numerous second cousins, and great nieces and nephews. Mark will surely be missed. A celebration of life will be held at a later date in Missouri, where his mother lays to rest, as well as Grandmother Gerry, and other family members.
