Dennis Patrick McGrath passed away peacefully June 6th, with family by his side. He was 83 years old and was born in New York City. Dennis was the beloved husband of Eileen McGrath who preceded him the prior year, where they enjoyed 60 years of marriage. He is survived by his 4 children and 10 grandchildren. He was an Architect and his many unique designs can still be found in areas ranging from New York to California and included his design of the Saratoga Performing Arts Center. In lieu of flowers, anyone wishing to honor Dennis’ life, is requested to make a donation in his name to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.

I remember so many great times with my Uncle Dennis. He was so funny and kind. I remember going to there apartment in New York and the house he designed and built in Tuxedo New York. It is the end of a great generation of McGrath kids. He is now with his brothers and sister. Rey sorry for your loss. He will be greatly missed.
I will always remember Dennis for his beautiful kind heart, and for his fabulous sense of humor. I had the privilege and joy of working with him, as an architect at Prudebtial . He was our boss, and it was the best work crew ever. He and Eileen became my dear friends. I enjoyed so many fun times with them and their great kids. What a wonderful family. My sincere condolences to Dennis’ entire family. I never had the pleasure of meeting him although we were first cousins. My father was James Mc Grath. , Mary McGraths brother. May he rest in peace fondly. Teresa McGrath Gilliland.
