Randall Allen “Randy” Harris
Azle– Randall Allen “Randy” Harris, 61, of Azle, passed away Sunday afternoon, November 9, 2014. Mr. Harris was an independent Petroleum Landman and Rancher. He lived on and operated the Smith-Harris Century Ranch in Jack County from the early 1980s until 2007. Mr. Harris, a beloved husband, father, and brother, was born in Wichita Falls on August 11, 1953. He attended the University of Texas in Austin and Midwestern State University and was a 1971 graduate of Rider High School. Throughout his lifetime, he remained an avid hunter and dedicated fan of the Texas Rangers and UT Longhorn football. He is survived by his wife, Jeanne, son Michael, and daughter Taylor Haire, son-in-law Chris Haire, grand-daughter Raina Haire, all of Azle; and sister Rhonda Harris and Ronald Campbell of Jacksboro, cousin Charlene Miller Stenger and COL James Stenger (Ret.) of San Antonio, and many beloved relatives and friends. Mr. Harris is preceded in death by his parents, longtime Wichita Falls and later Jacksboro residents Joel Allen and Betty Harris.

  1. Wow…I was just looking for Randy and this is what I found…should have looked sooner. He was an old and trusted friend and I hate to hear of his passing. I guess I thought we would all live forever. Vaya con Dios mi Amigo….
