How Much Does A Cremation Cost?

When you need cremation services, the options to choose from can seem overwhelming. Lonestar Cremation has grouped these options together in three convenient packages to take the stress out of choosing. However, there are still some choices you need to make to be sure you get the package that best fits your needs. Here are some of the features of our cremation packages in more detail.

All-Inclusive Cremations

All of our packages are all-inclusive, meaning all of the basic services are taken care of by our competent staff. Our Bronze package includes these basic services. Additionally, with the Bronze package, you can make the arrangements online and pay for the cremation cost with a credit card, cash, or check. There may be other fees if the deceased was over 275 pounds. Also, if you want to purchase extra copies of the death certificate, you have that option. Each additional copy is $4. We also have the option to have the ashes of your loved one shipped to you. There is a fee of $25 for this service.

Special Circumstances

Not all situations are the same. Some families are in need of an expedited cremation. This simply means they want the cremation done as soon as possible. We offer expedited cremation services with our Silver and Gold packages. Permits and other paperwork for expedited cremations are given top priority to ensure the cremation happens quickly. We are typically able to perform the cremation the next business day after the paperwork has been finalized. Also, some of the families that we serve have complicated situations involving third parties such as airlines, cemeteries, or correction institutions. Rather than having you deal with these third parties, Lonestar offers Concierge Assistance with our Gold package in which we handle these arrangements for you.

Extra Services

Some of our features are considered extras, but many of the families we work with decide to take advantage of them. These include submitting the obituary to the newspaper, the option to witness the start of the cremation or say goodbye, posting the obituary on our website, social media posts, and a discount on a permanent urn. Rather than “nickel and dime” our customers, we lump all of our most popular features together and include them in the cremation cost. These features are available with our Silver package for only $240 more than the standard Bronze package.

Pre-Payment

Many people make plans for the end of their life in advance so that their loved ones do not have to make any decisions when the time comes. Our Gold package is designed for our customers who want to pre-pay for their cremation. Not only does this prevent friends and family from having to make the arrangements, it also locks in the price of cremation on the date you purchase the package. This package also includes Concierge Assistance, unlimited newspaper submissions, and the ability to pay with insurance.

Whatever your situation, Lonestar has a cremation package with features that will fit your family’s needs. If you have any question about the price of cremation packages, or if you want more information on any of our services, call our office today. We would be happy to speak with you regarding any of our cremation services.
