Manuela C. Aguilar
Manuela C. Aguilar, 86, of Moore, Texas passed away May 7, 2015 in Cleburne, Texas. She had been a resident of Moore, Texas,Frio County area for all of her adult life. In her spare time, Manuela enjoyed spending time with her family, sharing recipes and caring for her flower garden. She loved to plant flowers and tend the yard. She was an exceptional gardener. Our beloved lady was a charmer. She was full of life, had a great sense of humor, and was always fun to be around. The friends she made were “forever friends.” Because of her, we, who loved her, laughed a lot more, cried a lot less and smiled much more often. She made our world a happier place and left us with fond memories of the time we spent together. When asked to sum up her life in six words, she responded: “Lived Simply, Laughed Often, Loved Deeply.” What a wonderful life she lived. She is one more member of the greatest generation that we all shall miss. Manuela was born December 25, 1928 in Moore, Texas. She is preceded in death by her husband Andres T. Aguilar, her parents Nicasio and Dora Carrasco, 3 daughters Amalia (Molly) Clark, Sandra SanMiguel, and Sylvia Morales, 2 grandsons – Bobby Rey Aguilar, Lonnie Aguilar, 3 brothers, Conrad Carrasco, Fred Carrasco & Ernesto Carrasco and sister Delia Aguilar. She is survived by her three sons; Andres Aguilar, JR (Judy) of Alvarado, Texas, Robert Aguilar (Maria) of Moore, Texas and Adolfo Aguilar (Ruby) of Rosenberg, Texas, two daughters; Diana Rodriguez (Paul) of Lewisville, Texas and Dora Aguilar of Cleburne, Texas, grandchildren; Nicasio Aguilar, Shelly Newland, Diana Aguilar, Yvette Alcorta, Christina Sotelo, Nola Morales, Ricardo Morales, Elisha Aguilar-Hinton, Robert Lee Aguilar, Sandra Marie Aguilar, Taunya Lee, Lynssi Aguilar, Joshua Aguilar, Paul Anthony Rodriguez, JR, Francisco Aguilar, Benito Covarrubia Jr, Lisa SanMiguel, Jason SanMiguel, David G. Navarrette, sister; Irma Sanchez, brother; Jesus Carrasco as well as numerous nieces, nephews, great grandchildren and great great grandchild. She will be dearly missed and forever in our hearts.
